All in the Picture - display in Tigard, OR Starbucks

Beautiful framed sample wedding, senior, family and baby pictures are displayed at the Starbucks in Tigard, on Sequioa Parkway, near Home Depot.  Stop by and enjoy our images.

High School Seniors

If you are a senior who just did the standard yearbook picture in the fall - think about having additional senior portraits that show your individual personality and style.  Get some wallets to send with your invitations…   Get a special gift for your grandparents, relatives or Mom for Mothers Day!  We offer a unique Senior DVD that you can purchase for a keepsake or add to your MySpace or Facebook page.  Check out our “video” link on our website for some fun examples.  http://www.allinthepicture.com/

Now is the time of year for high school juniors to start thinking about scheduling their senior portraits this spring or summer.  The weather is getting better, spring flowers are blooming, and late day light will soon be plentiful.  We have a full-service studio with a wide range of backgrounds and props, as well as a couple of acres of land with great outdoor settings such as a rustic bridge, waterfall, rock walls, stone steps, etc.  You can bring your car, your pets, sports equipment, changes of clothes.  For a truly fun & memorable experience, bring a friend with you and share the session fee and the experience.

Display at Starbucks in Tigard

Twice a year we display images at a local Starbucks in Tigard. This time we have a variety of wedding images & portraits on display including some interesting gallery wraps (one of them is printed on metallic paper). The Starbucks is on Sequoia Parkway in Tigard (near Home Depot) off the Carmen Drive exit on I-5. The images will be on display during the month of October. If you have a chance to stop on by, have a cup of coffee, enjoy the display and let us know what you think.

Portland Wedding Photography

2008 has been a busy wedding season for us.  We had a chance to meet many nice couples and share their special day with them. We have gotten wonderful feedback on our images, designs and work style.  We still have more weddings to go to finish out the year and we are looking forward to another wedding season in 2009.

This last season, Kerry made a trip to Blacksburg, VA (home of Virginia Tech) to shoot a wedding.  She will be making a trip to southern California in December for another destination wedding. Over the last few years, we have traveled all over the area for weddings including Vancouver, WA, Oregon City, Salem, Portland, Beaverton, Forest Grove, Hillsboro, Corvallis, etc. There have also been some longer distance trips for weddings such as Bakersfield, CA in addition to the other trips this year.

Here are some pictures from this year’s weddings.  If you are looking to book a photographer for your upcoming wedding, feel free to contact us so we can show you sample albums and images.  Our individual attention, custom design and quality wedding photography will make you glad you called us.  Let us help you capture your special day.

Family Portraits

Summer is a great time for family portraits! Life is a little less rushed without all the school and sports activities. Everyone is a little more relaxed and looking their best. Those who have older children can get all the family members before some head off to college. And it is a great way to be prepared if you want to do custom holiday cards in the Fall - your pictures are already done!

Preparing for family portraits does not need to be difficult. Recent haircuts and similar color clothing is all you really need. How much effort you put into clothing is really up to you. Casual family portraits in jeans and solid tops look great and timeless. Some families bring a change of clothing for a variety of looks. It is your choice for whatever fits your personal style.

Here are some examples…

This family we photograph every Spring. It is great watching the little girls grow up! We do indoor, outdoor & a change of clothes.

Pets are more than welcome at our studio. This one is a particularly well trained guide dog puppy.

When we do our family portraits, I pick a color (ok, everyone put on a blue shirt & jeans) and have everyone get ready. Easy for us - the children have had lots of practice - but the idea is the same. Here is the result of our fall session last year… Looks great in color outdoors; indoor pictures looked great also.

Recent Engagement Portraits

In anticipation of the summer wedding season, we have been photographing engaged couples, both on our site and at some other interesting locations! One couple rented out the Portland Classical Chinese Garden, which was a beautiful setting and gave them a variety of images to enjoy and share with their wedding guests. Couples who have their portraits at our studio, can select both indoor and outdoor images.
It is always fun to be part of the excitement leading up to a wedding. An engagement session allows the couple to have fun together, get used to being the center of attention (before the big day!), and have some beautiful images to remember this stage of their relationship. Signature mats have become a popular alternative to traditional guest books - couples display their favorite image for their guests to see. The best wishes of wedding guests can be better enjoyed when framed and hung on the newly married couple’s wall.
We hope you enjoy this glimpse into our recent sessions.
